Democratic congresswoman Katie Hill has resigned amid Sex controversy with her staffers.
“It is with a broken heart that today I announce my resignation from Congress,” Katie Hill released a statement.
“This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I believe it is the best thing for my constituents, my community, and our country.” the statement said
The house committee on Ethics announced to open an investigation about the scandal on Wednesday.
Rep. Katie Hill admitted to having indecent relationship with a campaign, Graham Kelly who was working as her legislative director.
Hill had denied the allegations earlier, however she apologized for the act later on.
