Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner celebrated the lavish anniversary party at Camp David on Saturday.
The Luminous event witnessed the President of the United States and some close friends and family members of the couple.
Ivanka shared some glimpse of throwback on Instagram, however, the party at Camp David sparked debate about personal use of government office and abusing taxpayers’ money.
The act has angered many people who blame Ivanka to disgrace historic Camp David by holding their 10th-anniversary party at a place that once settled matters of war and peace.
History of Camp David
Located about 100 km northwest of Washington, Camp David is the country retreat for the President of the United States.
Due to its technically military installation, it is officially known as the Naval Support Facility Thurmont.
The President of the United States typically uses Camp David to meet with foreign dignitaries and to take a break from the pressures of the Oval Office of White House.
For a historic part, former President Roosevelt hosted Churchill in 1943 at Camp David.
Likewise, President Jimmy Carter negotiated the Camp David Accords here. Moreover, President Ronald Reagan hosted Margaret Thatcher and Barack Obama hosted the G8 at this symbolic place.
The historic role of Camp David in American politics is now being abused by the Trump family.
Trump Promised to Pay
This is very rare that a place that is considered cool down place for President of the United States is used for a private party.
More importantly, by daughter and son in law of the President. However, Trump clarified on Twitter about complete pay for the event.
“Had a beautiful dinner last night at Camp David in celebration of the 10th Wedding Anniversary of Ivanka and Jared,” Trump said in a tweet Saturday.
“Attended by a small number of family and friends, it could not have been nicer. Camp David is a special place. Cost of the event will be totally paid for by me!”

President Trump formed the body in order to make recommendations to the president on policies and plans.
